    Financial Wellbeing Service

    Famili Api Lelei

Since 2017 SIAOLA’s GREI Service has helped Tongan and Pacific families in Aotearoa build a brighter financial future. We provide expert financial guidance that leads to happiness, prosperity, and a life transformed.

Our team offers professional financial services with a genuine, caring approach. We are passionate about understanding and meeting the needs of the Tongan and Pacific community, earning their trust by putting our hearts into our work.

Founded in 2017 by Susan Prescott Taufa, SIAOLA GREI was born from her 15 years as a Home Loans Specialist. She launched the service to directly support families in achieving homeownership through effective savings and budgeting strategies.

Today, even with rising interest rates and a challenging economy, our FAL team is more committed than ever to helping families realize their dream of owning a home.

Financial Literacy: Bridging the Gap for Pasifika Families through Digital Financial Literacy

The GREI team is actively working to bridge the gap between financial institutions and the Pasifika community. We understand that recent bank branch closures have created a significant challenge, making it harder for many to access essential banking services.

That’s why our FAL team is focused on providing crucial support and resources for digital banking. Our goal is to ensure no one is left behind. We offer hands-on guidance and workshops that help individuals gain the confidence and skills needed to manage their finances safely and effectively online. By empowering the community with digital literacy, we’re helping to build financial resilience and independence for the future.

The GREI team goes beyond homeownership by helping families navigate a challenging economic landscape. We provide practical solutions to manage high mortgage repayments, ensuring their financial stability and resilience.

In a critical move to support a wider segment of the community, we proudly back the Ready to Rent Program. The program’s successful inaugural workshop demonstrates a clear community need for tenant education.

This program is more than just a workshop; it’s a vital tool to empower individuals. It teaches them their fundamental rights as tenants and provides the skills to effectively navigate and maintain positive landlord-tenant relationships. By capping each workshop at 20 clients, we ensure a hands-on, impactful experience that directly addresses the real-world needs of participants.
